HELLO! I’M ASHLYN MANN

My name is Ashlyn Mann and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Maryland College Park. I am a member of the College Park Scholars Public Leadership Program and I am double majoring in Accounting and Information Systems at the Smith School of Business. This website serves as a glimpse into my life as a proud student in the Public Leadership Scholars Program. I am from Cambridge MD, a small town on the Eastern Shore, where I still live with my parents. Throughout life I have always had a passion for helping others, especially children. I have tutored and coached a tennis team for special needs children, and these were some of the best times of my life. During my time at UMD and in Scholars I hope to continue helping others. In addition, I hope to build relationships with a diverse group of people, as I believe this is the first step in succeeding in any field and life in general.
